On July 4, 2003, Engine 42 was dispatched to a residential fire alarm, upon their arrival a working fire was discovered. Engine 42
immediately requested a full assignment, and entered the home in an attempt to stop the progressing fire. Fire crews had the blaze under
control in under 30 minutes. Engine 51, 42, Ladder 21, and 44 crews then overhauled the home and checked the insulation for the remnints of fire embers.
