"Fill The Boot," a charity event participated in by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department raised several thousand dollars for children. Many citizens in the city of Jacksonville donated money to the noteworthy cause by giving to fire fighters, who collected the monies in their boots.

          
This year's Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial, held on October the 12th, recognized and remembered the fire fighters who have paid the ultimate price and given their lives in the line of duty.

Engineer Russell Miscally, helps bag groceries at Publix along with Lt. Bruce Scott, Firefighter Eric Mitchell, and Miss Jacksonville teen winner. We bagged groceries to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Foundation.
