Fire rescue crews on the Southside rushed to the report of a structure fire, originating in the kitchen. A quick response time by fire fighters from Station's 21 and 51, resulted in the home receiving rather minor smoke and fire damage. Crews arrived on scene to find moderate smoke coming from the
structure, and with a quick knock down had the fire under control in less than 10 minutes. The fire was contained to the kitchen, and there were no injuiries to fire fighters or the residents.
