UPDATED: 11 / 19 / 2008!!!     New Photographs In Recent & Apparatus Sections:     Coming Soon.....    Fully Involved Vehicle Fire...    AND      Heavily Involved Residential Structure Fire W/ Dog Rescue and Casualty.   UPDATED... 11/19/2008 !!!

Welcome to my site, I was in the Jacksonville
Fire and Rescue Explorer program for about five years. As an explorer I had the opportunity to ride along with fire and rescue units and personnel of the JFRD. Besides riding with the fire and rescue department, I took photographs of them in action, around the stations, and of the departments apparatus for nearly six years. I made this website in order to show my photos to the public and show what firefighters go through and experience in Jacksonville, Tampa, and throughout this country daily...... On November the 9th, 2005 I successfully completed Minimum standards, which was one of the many major goals I had planned for my life. With this accomplishment, I'd like to take time out to thank the JFRD members and others for the tremendous amount of care and support that they have given throughout the years. I don't take it for granted and I appreciate the many laughs, fun, tense, educational and tragic times we all have experienced together!
*** Its hard to describe all the emotions that come to my mind as I look back over my life. In May it will be two seemingly short years since I moved to Tampa to begin a career that I have worked so diligently towards... becoming a PAID firefighter/paramedic. Its funny how I always expected without thinking that place to be Jacksonville, but one of the most common lessons to be learned from this career field I took for granted... Life Is So UNPREDICTABLE!!! To the numerous JFRD and TFRD personnel and crews I have captured on film and work alongside everyday, I appreciate the one thing that you have all shared with me......... Your Lives! ***

* On December 12th, 07 I completed Paramedic school. It was hard to accomplish, but I was fortunate enough to have good instructors, preceptors, classmates, and friends to help me along the way! Thanks, It Meant The World!

(ALL images on this site are my own.) I would like to extend my personal thanks to all of the Tampa and Jacksonille Fire and Rescue Department personnel who have allowed me to ride with their crew, and for their willingness to teach me lessons that they have learned in the past and for their kindness.
I would like to extend a special Thank You to Capt. Bruce Scott  for his time and effort.
